Angst on a tiny, fully-loaded, hot plane.

I'm on a United 737 heading to New Jersey.  It was a full passenger load, and very warm inside the cabin. It was taking an extra long time to get going, and the passengers were hot, tired and nervous. I started feeling anxious and got warmer in my tiny seat. I proceeded to get clostrophobic and had to stand up under a cool vent, as mine was blowing warm air. I was able to get cooled down and refocused, but for a few seconds I wasn't sure how it was going to go...  All is cool and good now at 36,000 feet over the Colorado Rockies.

The funny Newark, New Jersy note is that after we experienced an airport paralyzing blizzard four months ago near here, there was a hurricane hovering at Newark this time. We were grounded for almost two hours due to heavy rain, wind and lightening. The clouds were incredible as we ascended through it. Must have been the eye of the storm. Couldn't get any pictures.
